Birthday Wishes with Waffleflower Crafts

Hello, friends! After a busy week of Crop & Create Delivered Cardmaking fun, I’m back to share a new card with you created for the Waffleflower Crafts September release! Take a look at this birthday card, perfect for any receipient, young or old!

This card could not have been easier to create with just three products from the Waffleflower shop! Add some paper and three inks from your stash, and you can re-create this card, too!

The new Pop Up Star Die from Waffleflower started this project. I ran it through my die-cutting machine with a piece of A2 white Neenah Solar White cardstock. This die does not cut the stars completely—it cuts the left and right sides, allowing you to pull them up for dimension!

I then lined up the Random Stars Stencil with the die-cut stars and created an easy rainbow background using only three ink colors from Concord & 9th: Sweet Pea, Buttercup, and Aqua Sky. When these colors combine, they add in the orange and green that you can see on the finished card.

Here’s the sparkly surprise! I added sparkly gold paper from the Treasured Cardstock gold assortment pack onto the back of the starry background panel so that it was visible underneath the star edges. It added a fun touch that any birthday card needs. The birthday sentiment from the Birthday Wishes Combo and just a few sequins finished off this card beautifully!

If you’re looking for an easy birthday card idea that you can customize with any colors, look no further than these new products from Waffleflower Crafts! Thanks so much for stopping by today, friends!
