Christmas in July with Spellbinders Club Kits!

Happy Friday, all! I’m excited to be back here on the blog with you today to share holly jolly cards that I created using the July 2024 Club Kits from Spellbinders!

Every month, Spellbinders offers 9 different products on a subscription-basis, and you can cancel at any time! From dies to BetterPress plates, there is a Club, or two, or three, for everyone! And if you want the whole lot, you can sign up for the Deluxe Caboodle membership, which gives you every club each month, plus an additional bonus item reserved only for Caboodle subscribers!

This month, I created with the BetterPress of the Month, the Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, and the Embossing Folder of the Month. Check out my latest card:

Supplies | Spellbinders: July 2024 Embossing Folder of the Month, July 2024 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month, Treasured Cardstock - Silver Assortment, Delivering Joy Sleigh Etched Dies, cardstock in Crimson, Pink Sand, Sage and Fern, Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems, Platinum Scout mini die cutting machine, Platinum 6 die cutting machine, Best Ever Craft Tape; Scrapbook.com: Artis Craft Glue, foam adhesive roll; Concord & 9th: Cranberry ink, Pink Lemonade ink

This beauty started off with a gorgeous, textured background created using the July 2024 Embossing Folder of the Month. I love the hexagonal design with snowflakes, and I knew that I didn’t want to cover up too much of it. I framed the background with a touch of matte silver cardstock using the silver assortment Treasured Cardstock.

My sleigh was cut using the Delivering Joy Sleigh Etched Dies in Crimson, Pink Sand, Sage and Fern, a traditional holiday combination with a muted twist. To give it lift against the textured background, I first cut the sleigh and base 3 times from white cardstock, then layered the colored and metallic carstock on top. This added beautiful dimension and created a nice shadow against the background.

To finish off the card, I stamped ‘Delivering Holiday Cheer’ using the July 2024 Clear Stamp and Die of the Month in Cranberry ink, placing it just underneath of the sleigh. For a bit of added holiday sparkle, I scattered 5 Silver Mix Color Essentials Gems around the sleigh. I just love how this card turned out, and it is beautiful to see in person!

Earlier this month, I created a fun, wintery card using the BetterPress of the Month Club, and you can watch the process video on my YouTube channel! Simply click ‘watch on YouTube’ in the bottom right corner below.

This card, with its pretty, snowy color scheme, is one of my favorites that I have created this year!
