Hello! Today I went live to share two card panels that I created using the Perfectly Tied Bundle from Concord & 9th! Click ‘watch on YouTube’ below to watch the video on replay in a new tab so that you can hit the thumbs-up button, leave a comment and share this video!

In today’s video, I used this beautiful Perfectly Tied bundle which includes an embossing folder, stencil set, stamp and die set, to create two very different cards. Take a look at the first card I created:

On this card, I used a classic, beautiful color comgination of Carnation, Buttercup and Sea Glass to color in my ribbons. To make the job easier, I used smaller blending brushes so that I didn’t have to mask off individual ribbons.

The Perfectly Tied embossing folder creates such a dimensional background, and to color in the ribbons, you line up the Perfectly Tied stencils to add the color and the shadow layer. It’s so easy to create this gorgeous background!

The Perfectly Tied stamp set includes perfect sentiments to top the embossed panel, and for this one, I selected ‘you’re so lovely,’ layering it up 4 times and adding pink thread underneath. To finish off the card, I layered this panel onto a 6x6” piece of Carnation cardstock and added 5 dew drops.

I took a chance on my second card to create a metallic, sparkly birthday greeting!

On this card, I embossed the panel in the same way, but colored it in with metallic colors, Sunflower, Stardust, Spiced Cider, and Dove to match the new Simon Hurley Create Astro Pastes that I used to make these metallic ribbons sparkly! These pastes were easy to apply with my fingertip while the stencil was in place, and they look just amazing on the embossed bows.

These bows look truly spectacular as they sparkle in the light! To top this background, I add the ‘happy birthday to you’ sentiment stamped in Stardust, which I added silver thread to.
