Hello there! I’m excited to be here to announce that the new October collections from Spellbinders have arrived in their shop, and my friend Carissa Wiley has a beautiful collection called Shine Bright! I loved creating with this uplifting and shiny collection that reminds everyone to let their light shine.

My first card used the Sparkle Glimmer Hot Foil Plate to add the rays coming from just one side of the card. I wanted to make a shaker, and I backed the shaker circle with the silver Disco Ball Etched Die Cut so that the sequins sparkled against the silver foil. My background was blended in pink and grapefruit hues, and I added a simple sentiment strip sentiment from the Shine Bright Sentiment Strips Press Plate and Die Set.

I wanted my second card to have cooler hues, and this time I used the Sparkle Glimmer Hot Foil Plate to create a full round sunburst on the card front before I blended it in aqua hues. I created the same shaker as I did on the first card, just smaller this time. I also wanted a bolder sentiment, so I grabbed the Shine Bright Etched Dies to create a teal and silver sparkly layered sentiment, which I finished off with another Shine Bright Sentiment Strip.
