On today’s livestream, I created a fun birthday card featuring the new Space Adventure collection from Simon Hurley and Spellbinders! This fun, new collection was so fun to create with—something different than the florals that I tend to use! Here’s the card I created today:

My favorite product in the collection is definitely the innovative Starry Night 3D Emboss & Cut Folder and Stencil Bundle. This embossing folder is sized to fit Simon’s new Special Edition Black Platinum Scout that just released today and cuts and embosses at the same time with a cutting border that fits inside the embossing folder. You can also use it outside of the embossing folder, too! I embossed and cut the star panel, then used the coordinating stencil set to add white pigment ink to the tops of the stars.

Once my background was created, I added the cute, layered rocket, moon and stars cut from the To the Moon dies. These came together very easily with help from etched lines that show you where to place the pieces. To finish off my card, I used the Space Greetings dies to add the ‘happy birthday’ sentiment using brushed silver paper from the Silver Treasured cardstock pack.
