Hello, and happy Wednesday! I’m here with you today to share a bit of a cheat card… the kind that you create when you don’t feel like coloring! Take a look at what I created with the new Gina K. Designs release:

The beautiful new Winter Blooms stamp includes large, open florals that are perfect for this spotlight technique, which was inspired by a recent card from Mindy Eggen! After I stamped the lilies in both corners of the A2 white card base, I then added the color using the new Masked Oval Stencil and Gina K. Design inks and blending brushes.

This simple card shows a pop-up technique that I use over and over again in which I stamp an A2 white base and then die cut the center out, keeping the outer frame and popping the center up with foam tape. To do this, I used the Master Layouts 02 die set. The inner stitched rectangle with the thin outer rectangle was perfect for cutting out the center and highlighting it with a very thin black frame.

The sentiment was stamped from the Beautiful Day stamp and cut using the Master Layouts 09 die set. A very simple strip was all this card needed. To finish, I added six sequins trailing up the card.
