Timeless Trees with Simon Hurley - 3 Cards + A VIDEO!

Hello, friends! Today I went live with the gorgeous new Timeless Trees collection from Spellbinders and Simon Hurley, and I could not love what I created more! Watch the video below to see the 3 cards I created and watch as I put a sweet & pretty card together on camera! The card I created in my live was filled with texture and shine, and you can’t beat those sweet bottle brush trees on rose gold stands!

By starting with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder and highlighting it with Rose Gold Pops of Color from Scrapbook.com, I created a textural and shimmery background that really make this card special.

The lovely Whimsical Bottle Brush Trees were set off the background by the Essential Arches frame, and I love that their rose gold bases were highlighted with the Handmade Sentiment below, also cut from rose gold paper.

Now, let’s take a look at two other cards that I shared during my live!

I just had to create a happy and joyful row of rainbow Whimsical Bottle Brush Trees on this mini slimline card! I started off the same with the Bark 3D Embossing Folder to create that gorgeous white background, then topped it with the trees cut from colorful cardstock and matte gold specialty paper.

This may not be a classic holiday card, but I do think that it would bring a smile to anyone’s face. Delivering joy for sure! My final card is a bit more classic for those of you who are traditional die-hard Christmas fans.

This shaker card highlights the gorgeous Classic Christmas Tree etched dies that create this layered Christmas tree that I used for my focal point. I still used the Bark 3D Embossing Folder, but this time, I kept it at a minimum, as the Essential Arches frame took up the center of the card and added my shaker element.

I kept my color scheme the same as the first card using greens, pinks and rose gold foil. Inside my shaker, I added Coral Coast Sparkletz and my sentiment, stamped using the Christmas Magic Sentiments stamp set. I love this sweet card, and the rose gold elements look so pretty against the tree.

Three very different cards, all created using the Timeless Trees collection from Spellbinders and Simon Hurley! I hope you enjoyed the video, and the cards, and one of them will inspire you to craft this weekend. Happy creating and thanks for stopping by!
