In today’s livestream, I created this simple, yet gorgeous card using stencils and blending techniques!

This card could not have been simpler, and the Dazzling Dahlia stencils add the colors of the flower and leaves in just two steps! If you are a new cardmaker, this is the perfect set to teach you how to line up stencils and get a feel for blending, or if you are a seasoned stamper, you’ll love how easy it is to get a perfect image!

To add more color around my flower, I ink blended Sea Glass lightly, then used the Snowfall stencil to blend delicate dots on the background using a detail blending brush.

After cutting the panel out with a stitched rectangle die from Master Layouts 14 and popping the panel up on a piece of Sea Glass cardstock, I stamped the ‘sending love’ sentiment from the Delicate Dahlia stamp set (also included in the You Are So Loved kit!) using In the Navy ink, and die cut it with the coordinating die. I added 1 mm foam adhesive underneath to help it stand out from the flower.
