I love cake, in both baked form and paper form, and the new Cut the Cake Bundle from Concord & 9th allowed me to create the latter to craft a beautiful and simple card! Take a look!

On this card, I opted to give it a bit of dimension by using both the dies and the stencil, and I love the finished result! The color scheme of Pink Lemonade, Creamsicle, Lemongrass, and Aqua Sky created the most colorful and cheerful cake!

I opted to die cut the cake shape before blending, and I found that this stencil was very easy to line up with the die cut cake outline, making the stenciling work quick! There are 6 stencils included in this bundle, allowing you to add the round confetti to the cake icing, the cake layers, the top of the cake, candles, and even the details on the cake stand.

The stamp, which includes a variety of sentiments for any occasion, also includes confetti, which I stamped around the cake and embellished with gold sequins. To add more sparkle, the candles became sparklers when topped with gold glitter cardstock.
