A Colorful Afternoon Tea with Concord & 9th
/Welcome, friend! Today, Carissa Wiley and I got together on our YouTube channels to create with the latest Concord & 9th release and chat together with you! It was so much fun, and I would love for you to watch on replay below! Click ‘watch on YouTube’ to open up the video in a new tab so that you can give the video a thumbs-up and leave a comment!
In today’s livestream, I used the Afternoon Tea bundle and Cottage Charm stencil set to create a sweet and colorful mini-slimline (3-1/2 x 6”) card. Take a look!
I love the Afternoon Tea die set, and I had envisioned creating this card in a fun color scheme fo some time! I wanted the cups to appear like they were sitting on a countertop, so I stenciled the background first using the Cottage Charm stencil set before adding the ‘countertop’ with Pebble cardstock.
The delicate pattern, blended with Pebble and Harbor inks really helped to keep the cups the focus. I added the bottom detail for each cup and the handle on opposing sides in the same color as each cup.
The sentiment, ‘Have a delightful day,’ just seemed right with this delightful color scheme! I had not planned on adding flowers, but I quickly cut them during the livestream, and I think they added the perfect finishing touch to this card.
I hope you enjoyed our first Craft & Chat as much as I did! Find the supplies that I used in today’s livestream below, and stay tuned for more of these livestreams to come! Thanks for watching, and happy creating!
